Donating to a Good Cause (How Billionaires Ran The World)
Excerpts from my book "An Unorthodox Truth"
Imagine a world where the richest individuals have the power to shape society, control the government, and manipulate our education. It may seem like a far-fetched conspiracy theory, but thanks to the groundbreaking work of Norman Dodd and the Reece Committee, we now have evidence of how billionaires have quietly revolutionized our world.
In the 1950s, a courageous investigation was launched into the tax-exempt foundations established by these billionaires. The goal was simple: determine if these foundations were genuinely using their vast resources for the purposes they claimed. What the investigators found was shocking.
Led by Edward E. Cox, the Select Committee to Investigate Tax-Exempt Foundations and Comparable Organizations dug deep into the motives behind these foundations and their influence on public life. Their findings revealed that the Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, and Carnegie Endowment were funneling excessive funds into universities like Columbia, Harvard, University of Chicago, and the University of California. The purpose? To promote a dangerous ideology known as oligarchical collectivism.

The investigation also uncovered a hidden revolution that took place between 1933 and 1936, a revolution that went unnoticed by the majority of the American people. This peaceful yet impactful revolution resulted in a transfer of power from the people to the Executive Branch of the Federal Government. The report also highlighted how education had been manipulated from outside local communities to support this new order.
While not directly supporting communism, the report uncovered that some of the larger foundations had actively supported attacks on our social and governmental system. They had financed the promotion of socialism and collectivist ideas, undermining the principles that protect our society.
It is truly alarming to realize the extent of influence that billionaires hold. These individuals have silently orchestrated a revolution, pulling the strings from behind the scenes, and reshaping our government and education without our awareness.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is a stark reminder of the power billionaires possess. They bring us inside the cave, bind us in chains, direct our gaze towards the cave wall, and hold the puppets against the fire. They have the ability to manipulate our perception, control our reality, and influence our lives without us even realizing it.
From the earliest days of America, small, local businesses were the backbone of the country. These businesses operated on a community level, without the influence of greed or capitalism. However, everything changed when the billionaires emerged. They brought with them monopolistic ideas and disrupted the status quo, including the field of healthcare.
Healthcare as a Business
In the past, America relied on local physicians who provided personalized care and relied on natural remedies for healing. But the billionaires had a different agenda. The Corbett Report reveals that the Rockefeller Foundation and similar organizations embarked on a massive program to transform the practice of medicine. Their goal was not only to make advancements in healthcare but also to profit from it.
The "oiligarchs," including figures like John D. Rockefeller, were no strangers to exploiting opportunities for financial gain. They even derived a laxative called "Nujol" from Standard Oil's byproducts and marketed it successfully. Seeing the potential for profit in the pharmaceutical industry, they sought to change the prevailing mindset of an America still rooted in naturopathic and herbal remedies.
In 1901, John D. established the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research and hired Simon Flexner as its director. Flexner's brother, Abraham, was commissioned by the Carnegie Foundation to evaluate the American medical education system. His resulting report, known as The Flexner Report, along with the substantial funding from the Rockefeller and Carnegie Foundations, led to a complete overhaul of the American medical system. Natural and alternative medicine were dismissed as quackery, with an emphasis placed on drug-based allopathic medicine and costly medical procedures.
Fast forward to the present, and the world is grappling with a global health crisis. While the rest of the world suffers, the ten wealthiest billionaires have seen their fortunes double. Much like their predecessors, they have achieved this immense wealth right under our noses.
It's clear that the impact of billionaires on society, particularly in the field of healthcare, cannot be ignored. The path they have paved has favored profit over community well-being, and it is essential to understand the consequences of their actions.
The Business Plot
So far, it appears that yes, the rich and powerful billionaires influence the world, and yes, they donate a generous amount to organizations that fund their ideologies. However, anyone can justify that none of these things are disastrous at their core.
To illustrate the power of the rich, let's delve into the story of Smedley Butler. A highly decorated Major General and senior officer of the United States Marine Corps, Butler fought in several historic conflicts. His remarkable achievements include receiving 16 medals, five for heroism, and being one of the very few individuals to have been awarded the Medal of Honor twice. Butler was a man of great integrity, always prioritizing democracy for the American people.
In 1933, Butler found himself tangled in a conspiracy to overthrow the United States Government. This audacious plot, known as the Business Plot or the Wall Street Putsch, aimed to install a dictator in place of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Butler revealed that wealthy businessmen were behind this scheme and intended to create a fascist veterans' organization, with Butler as its leader, to execute the coup d'état.
Butler's testimony before the United States House of Representatives Special Committee on Un-American Activities shed light on these revelations. Although no one was prosecuted, the committee's final report acknowledged the legitimacy of the overthrow attempts that were discussed, planned, and potentially executed if deemed necessary by the financial backers.
Initially, major news media outlets dismissed this incident as a hoax, with a misguided New York Times editorial fueling misinformation. However, perceptions shifted once the final report was issued. From Wikipedia, we read the following:
Retired Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler asserted that wealthy businessmen were plotting to create a fascist veterans' organization with Butler as its leader and use it in a coup d'état to overthrow Roosevelt. In 1934, Butler testified under oath before the United States House of Representatives Special Committee on Un-American Activities (the "McCormack–Dickstein Committee") on these revelations. Although no one was prosecuted, the congressional committee final report said, "there is no question that these attempts were discussed, were planned, and might have been placed in execution when and if the financial backers deemed it expedient."
Early in the committee's gathering of testimony most major news media dismissed the plot, with a New York Times editorial falsely characterizing it as a "gigantic hoax". Reporting changed when the final report was issued.
These instances of wealthy individuals attempting to overthrow the government are not isolated. Understanding this reality is crucial as we strive to liberate ourselves from the invisible chains that bind us. Wealthy individuals with immense power and influence shape the world according to their desires, often prioritizing control over ethical considerations. Once we grasp this understanding, we can better comprehend the stronghold they have on us.
