I just read the following piece from

and was genuinely heartbroken at its implications. Here’s the three-minute article I strongly recommend you read:

If I’m interpreting this correctly:

• The citizens in Gaza would not be allowed to evacuate the area. This is the citizens we’re referring to, not the Hamas. 

• Suppose the citizens are not allowed to leave when the retaliation strikes against Hamas occur. In that case, these citizens will be caught in the crossfire.
