Why Florida is better than California: A tale of two states

A Comprehensive Look at the Two States' Differences in Policies

Introduction

California and Florida are two of the most populous and influential states in the US, but they have taken very different paths in dealing with the challenges of the 21st century. From their pandemic responses, to their population growth, to their homelessness crisis, the two states offer a stark contrast in governance, culture, and quality of life. In this post, I will argue that Florida has outperformed California in many aspects, and that its model of freedom, innovation, and opportunity is more appealing and sustainable than California's.
