America's Tragic Misplaced Priorities: Billions for Ukraine, Crumbs for Citizens
As inflation rages and millions of Americans can’t afford basics like food and rent, you probably noticed the U.S. government just signed off on sending a staggering $61 billion more to Ukraine.
In addition to the estimated $75 billion already provided since the conflict began over a year ago, President Biden approved a new $95 billion aid measure, with roughly $61 billion for Ukraine’s military.
So, while American families struggle with soaring prices on everything from groceries to gasoline, your leaders decide taxpayer money should be funneled by the billions halfway around the world to pour weapons into a distant conflict.
It would be comical if it weren’t so tragically destructive. This spending is the government’s actual prioritization in action: showering the military-industrial complex with obscene windfalls while its own population suffers an economic beating.
$140 Billion for Ukraine While Americans Suffer
This alarming misalignment of priorities is par for the course. In 2023 alone, the U.S. military spent an astonishing $820 billion — over 13% of the entire federal budget. The usual jingoistic narratives about “countering Russian aggression” and “upholding democracy” are trotted out to gaslight the masses into supporting perpetual influxes of cash and weapons around the world.
On April 24th, as the bill was signed to provide Ukraine with additional funds, actual frontlines were materializing across America’s economic warzone:
37.9 million lived below the poverty line in 2022, including 12.4% of children newly impoverished.
56% of bridges were rated structurally deficient or worse as infrastructure crumbled.
Essentials became increasingly unaffordable as inflation immiserated families.
Yet the average American remains stuck in a manufactured reality tunnel, blissfully unaware of this destabilizing decay thanks to systemic propaganda permeating through the news, media, sports, education, and popular culture.
The Illusion of Democracy Exposed
Of course, this depressing reality shouldn’t really surprise anyone at this point. The American government exists to serve the corporatocracy and protect the interests of the ownership class—not uplift the population as a whole. Ever since the rise of the Federal Reserve, its allegiance has aligned with the banks, which the politicians fuel. And here’s how.
Politicians get campaign money from corporations, banks, and other special interest groups, which reflects the power of lobbying. Once these politicians are in office, they are more inclined to support the laws, bills, and policies that favor those corporations, financial organizations, and special groups. Why would they prioritize the needs of struggling citizens over their billion-dollar benefactors?
Sure, plenty of political theater about “supporting democracy” and “protecting freedom” gets performed. But stripping away that empty rhetoric reveals the raw self-interest and greed animating our country and its endless excess spending.
The real underlying motives behind this $140 billion Ukraine infusion and other such payouts, such as the COVID Pandemic payouts or the Big Bank Bailouts, are far more about projecting geopolitical power, protecting the petrochemical manufacturers, and pleasing the banking-military-industrial-intelligence oligarchy.
Your well-being doesn’t factor into the equation. You’re simply an expendable resource to be fleeced of wealth and youth to feed the ravenous maw of the system upheld by the modern feudal oligarch class.
Voting Is The Not The Answer
Yet, some argue that we can vote out of this. I argue the opposite. Voting is the greatest illusion we can play on ourselves, providing a glimpse into change, but it itself, especially at the federal and presidential levels, upholds the illusion.
So, if voting offers no path to reforming a fundamentally criminalized system rigged to serve oligarch ownership over citizens, where does that leave the sovereign individual?
The answer begins first with a sober understanding of one’s reality — the nation-state apparatus is the paramount tool of public oppression:
Its priorities favor powerful establishment groups over the masses by conscious design.
Elite influence over government ensures your taxes/productive output get siphoned to uphold their rackets.
Manufactured realities are pushed through schooling and the press to create prisons of perceptions.
Only by psychologically exiting these control fields and patiently constructing self-determining parallel systems can you liberate your sovereign human potential.
Escaping the Illusion and Rejecting Oppression
Recognizing these harsh truths is difficult. They obliterate the feel-good delusions about living in a free society with a government “of the people, by the people, for the people.” We’ve been indoctrinated since birth to believe the fairy tale.
But willfully remaining entranced by that pacifying illusion only sentences you to lifelong subservience as a dejected debt slave. It robs your existence of sovereignty and self-determination.
Look at the evidence all around you. The corporatist oligarchy has its collective boot on our necks while using our tax dollars to fuel its own perpetual enrichment. Does that sound like a system working for our best interests?
Unwitting citizens have been psychologically conditioned through institutionalized propaganda since childhood to remain blissfully unaware and trusting of the forces actually dominating their lives. But at some point, thinking humans must reject that mental prison.
Awakening to Self-Sovereignty
For those courageous enough to peer through the curtain and escape the largely fictional reality encoded by the ruling class’s narrative control, the fog begins to lift. By studying revelatory works like my book “An Unorthodox Truth,” you awaken to how thoroughly the human experience has been commodified and stripped of true choice, freedom, and self-actualization. You become equipped with the capabilities to see beyond the veil and are able to chase true sovereignty.
The choice between blissful delusion or emancipated self-actualization rests with you.
So stop fighting the propagandized upstream charge to “change” or “reform” a fundamentally rigged game where you’re always destined to be the permanently exploited loser. Don’t waste your finite life energy screaming empty virtue signals into an establishment void designed to sustain itself by manufacturing an illusion of dissent.
Instead, starve the beast and reclaim your individual sovereignty. This step is the first one. Once complete, you can shift your focus to building parallel self-determining economies, mutual aid networks, information ecosystems, and resilient communities that make the parasitic oligarchy irrelevant over time.
Live a meaningful, spiritually nourishing existence in alignment with your true nature and values - not the artificial constructs of nation, culture, politics, and performative tribalism imprinted on you by highly compensated social engineers.
Something better awaits on the other side.
Ashe.

I wholeheartedly agree that Americans, and probably every other person living in an industrialized Western nation, are living in a manufactured illusion. It is likely that even the wars that we see going on around us are manufactured. I don’t mean that they aren’t occurring, and people aren’t dying (although to what extent I am not sure), but I don’t have enough faith in government or industry to believe that there isn’t collusion at the highest levels in every country. They will gladly sacrifice human beings for wealth and power. Imagine the money to be made for rebuilding Ukraine, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Gaza. They get paid to sell the weapons that destroy cities, and then they get paid to rebuild them.
We are living in the age of multinational corporations and banks, and like you said, they are in control. They manufactured the events of the Gulf of Tonkin, September 11, Covid, and many others. Every major nation claims to have a space program and sends actornauts to the fake International Space Station to perform on green screens and zero-g jet aircraft to perpetuate the illusion that they are in orbit. India and Japan just claimed they landed on the moon, and no nation called BS. That proves cooperation and collusion at the highest levels.
Wouldn’t it be great if they held an election, and no one showed up?
Amen. I hope so!
