"While practical, screen technologies trap our minds in an artificial reality divorced from embodied experience." No truer words were ever spoken. As a writer, I spend waaay too much time in front of a computer screen. Fortunately, I usually listen to by body. When I start to get tired, or cranky and out of sorts—ache from sitting too ling—I listen and get up and go outdoors, go swim at the beach, sit under a tree, contemplate silence, whatever—anything to unhook and CHILL. And instead of watching a video at night, I read a book. And NOT on a Kindle!
