Franklin, in your pursuit for truth, you are overlooking the source of truth which is the God of bible. I would challenge you to pray to God asking him to reveal himself to you. Jesus said of himself that "I am the way, the truth, and the life. Him who comes to the Father, comes through me." Gospel of John. I would challenge you to pray this prayer with all sincerity if you want to find the truth and then the Truth will find you. God bless you.

Hey Arnold! Thanks for this note!

For background, I grew up Pentecostal Christian and this was a great introduction and guide into the Spiritual. I would say I actually practice one of the earliest forms of Christianity, which would be the Gnostics.

Couple thing that I've learned:

- The Bible was manipulated and weaponized by the Church. I write about this in the article below, but we must come to terms with this.

- We've been taught not to look for God elsewhere. This is a direct result of the weaponization of the Bible. I strongly recommend looking into Gnositicm as this may be one of the earliest forms of Christianity, before the Constantine and the King James Bible

Looking forward to chatting some more, but here are some articles that may help:

Franklin, no, I dont believe the word of God has weaponized against anyone--its been kept safe for 6000+ years. God is not partial towards anyone--all are under the wrath of God apart from Jesus. Everything relating to salvation, justification through faith, the judgement of God, eternal life and return of Jesus has already been clearly revealed by the apostles. The apostle Paul warned Christians and the church leaders in Ephesus to not twist the scriptures to their own ends--Peter warned about this as well as well as James and Jude. A simple test of truth is that which Paul said in 1Cor 15 that if a person adds to, changes or denies the realities of the gospel as proclaimed by the apostles that Jesus, (God incarnate came in the flesh), and that He died and arose from the dead in bodily form on the third day—anything beyond this is considered unorthordox (heretical). In Jesus.

Sadly, it’s being locked in what we think we know that will keep us from learning what we need to know. The Bible told us this would happen… That a stupor would be put on the people and they wouldn’t have eyes to see. This article nails it… To find God and to understand his mysteries all one has to do is seek them with an opened mind and heart.
