How DeSantis and RFK Jr. Are Inspiring Us to Question Everything

The 2024 presidential election is shaping up to be one of the most interesting and controversial¹ ones in recent history. On one side, we have the incumbent, Joe Biden, who has been widely criticized for his handling of the pandemic, the economy, the border crisis, and the social unrest. On the other side, we have Donald Trump, who despite all the noise, is a viable candidate and has a loyal base of supporters ready to follow him to the end.

PS: I’d argue that Trump is part of the “larger system” that we will discuss in this article. One piece of the argument is that Trump inserted the term “fake news” into the public zeitgeist. That phrase was skillfully designed and associated all conspiracies in the public domain as “fake news.” All this, right before the pandemic occurred.

Anyone, whether Democrat or Republican, who questions the official story is someone who believes in fake news, thus immediately trying them to Trump, QAnon, or conspiracy theorists.
