Our Ocularcentric Society
How technologies remove our minds from our bodies and how this contributes to the mental crisis.

In my article, who are the bad guys, I reference the ReallyGraceful video where she discusses the rise of the Internet. From 1999 to 2022, there has been an increase in smartphones. In 20 years, we've gone from no one to everyone having one.
The smartphone has only allowed access to more information, i.e., social media, which has had a disastrous effect. As JustinBlu says in his IG post, social media are the cigarettes of our society. Just like the health effects of cigarettes were found 40 years later, we'll find out the impact of social media and all this information soon enough.
Unfortunately, we're starting to see some of those effects now.
One of those effects is the rise of an ocularcentric society, leading to several voices in our heads. These voices are getting louder, and we're seeing this in the general population, evidenced by the mental health crisis.
Throughout this article, we're going to discuss how we got here and the effects that it's having on us. Then we're going to discuss what we can do about this.
Within this article, the reader will gain the following insights:
How our modern society was constructed
Why our modern society is unnatural with dire consequences
How do these consequences harm our mental health
How we access the inner power of intuition and insight
How Did We Get Here
As stated in the article, who are the bad guys, the idea is that the world that we currently inhabit is the world built by the powerful parasitic elite. This is simply a fact. Individuals with money have the resources to move the world their way.
This is not a democracy as has been taught to us. Multiple studies have verified this, specifically this one from Princeton University. We must understand that individuals in power shape society as they see fit. And they do this from the perspective of social control and statistics.
This mode of thinking is attributed to an ideology known as technocracy, which
and cover. Technocracy has many influential individuals, such as Bill Gates, Elon Musk, and many more. What's interesting to note is that these individuals help mold society using very effective tools from industries of science, medicine, etc.
From
, we read the following. In the 19th and even more so in the 20th century, social planners, politicians, and leaders of various industries, mesmerized by the fruits which scientific inquiry was producing in the fields of industry and medicine, came to believe that the methods of science could be used to remodel society.
The result of this movement was a massification of society, that is, an increase in uniformity and a drastic decrease in the importance of the individual.
For in order to model and subsequently remake society based on scientific and rational principles, the uniqueness of the individual must be negated in favour of statistical averages, and the redesign of society enacted by a group of elites, or Technocrats, who view humans as nothing but abstractions, homogenous social units to be managed and manipulated.
Humans aren't abstractions and social units to be managed. We were never meant to live or be this way, which is why we currently suffer. We're suffering physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. This isn't natural.
