Will you please clarify the financial support for Substack? Is taking out paid subscriptions to individuals what you mean by financial support for Substack?

Infiltration and sabotage are very likely to be attempted, because Substack writers and readers are considered dissidents and governments always try to spy on and corrupt those they consider problematic. They are trying to divide in any little way they can. It doesn’t take much to divide. The virus/no virus discussion is one example. Freedom people are divided on that topic Time and energy shouldn’t be wasted on that right now since the fight is far more than that. We have to really focus and work together to win this battle.

Hey Melanie! Yes, paid subscriptions is what I'm referring too. For example, if you become a paid subscriber, now only do I get revenue, but Substack does as well. Substack then realizes content like mine makes them money (which is good for business) and then promotes my page and pages like mine. So yep, you're thinking about that right.

PS: regarding the virus/no virus topic, I've touched on it before, but I think I'm going to expound more on it and "why" it matters, so thanks for this comment! Provided me with another idea to expound upon :)

Thank you for the reminder, and I agree with you regarding the nature of money. Money is also a way to store and expend energy. Most people trade dollars for hours to live. I tell my kids to think of money as hours of their life expended to obtain something. If they make $20 an hour (gross), then a $10 burger and fries is worth 30 minutes of their life. I teach them earning money is expending their life energy for the pursuit of the means to transfer that life energy into currency to obtain the things they need to sustain their life energy. In our current world model, that is the cycle.

In the same way, we should expend our life energy to support causes that increase value in the world, and in turn support us. That should be another cycle once our basic needs are met. It comes down to managing your life force. I spend money every month supporting several writers and platforms, even though I rarely have the time to listen to or read the content. I believe that my support is helping spread information that will create a better world for all of us.

Sean, you and I might need to talk because you're ideas are the building blocks that we need to focus on. I echo your sentiments as well and I want to really dive into the the topic of money (I had it as a topic on my book, but just couldn't dive into it like I wanted too so I left it out).

As a writer, your support, even if you don't read all the articles (even though I see you do since we interact here :) ) goes so long. It provides that little bit of "hope" to keep on going, literally serving as spiritual currency in that regards. So thank you.

PS: that IG video you shared in another post has been resonating with me since. I'm looking to expand more on that topic as well.

Thanks. It would be great to talk to someone with like ideas. I believe I have a pretty well rounded understanding of money, the Fed, etc. I have expressed my views on bankers being vampires on other comment threads, but I would like to get them down in writing and elaborate on them more.

Regarding the IG video, there is a lot of information coming out (or maybe I am just becoming aware of it) on what is called antiquitech; and the idea that we are merely inheritors of the buildings and technology of a much older society. The ideas presented in this video are what got me on this rabbit trail: https://www.bitchute.com/video/QetnEQ2pszMr/ It is five hours long so it probably won't be possible to watch it in one sitting. Let me know how you want to connect.

I actually turned off the paid subscription option on my newsletter a few months ago (which hurt me financially) b/c SS started demanding "government issued ID" from me. This was after many months of processing donations. SS provided creepy AI responses from "people" who only provided their first name, no job title, and would not answer the simplest of questions re the claim of having an obligation to regulators to collect said data from me.

Also, the agreement that one must sign up for in order to accept paid subscriptions is very convoluted and requires one to basically absolve SS's partner "Stripe" of any wrong doing and go along with whatever they might do no matter how unfair or damaging.... which I find very alarming.

Christine, aww man, I can imagine the hurt financially. Dang, sorry to hear that. And after writing about the substack attack, I can see stripe "changing their policies" and asking for IDs to receive payments. This has inspired an article that I just jotted down, so thank you. But staying on topic, are you planning for other ways to gain finances from your writing? Your work in waking people up is valuable and you should be compensated as such.

Hi Franklin. Thanks for your words of support.

I have a paypal button (which isn't very visible) on my website so receive an occasional donation that way, but should start adding something to my newsletters in that regard. Thanks for the reminder.

Looking forward to your next article. Cheers.

Any place that allows anything even remotely resembling free speech, will be attacked, mercilessly, by the "system" and their willing jackboots.

As a paid subscriber for probably 25 different stacks, I would like to suggest that it is almost impossible to read every article written. That however does not mean the writer is not being followed, rather it is the reality of parsing one's limited time. Substack is a refuge and opportunity for those of us seeking to deploy our own minds, and i will continue supporting it and the writers who provide me that environment in the belief that it is a foundation to rebuild our freedom of speech...and reach.

Please don’t misunderstand what the scripture says about money and evil. What it actually says is: 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

Money itself is a tool. The LOVE of money is a misplaced affection that leads to problems of the ‘heart’.

People often confuse the concept and in the process lose out on what scripture teaches.

Besides this your article is insightful and provocative. As are many of the comments herein.

Emerald noticed this:

Stripe has been converged for a while, and substack does not allow for other payment processors. Dr. Malone documented his challenges with stripe.

https://rwmalonemd.substack.com/p/resolved-stripe-substack-demand-financial?

The entire payment processor area lacks conservative alternatives. And many banks also have biases, and will de-bank you in the U.S. and UK (Nigel Farage).

There are also reporting requirements from the U.S. government for payments over x dollars. And the processor will issue you a 1099.

And banks and payment processors are terrified of government compliance issues. Unfortunately the requirements are used as an excuse for selective prosecution.

I'm in an odd situation...76, an avid reader, on a modest retirement income, trying to invest a tithe of my income on support for Substackvwriters, J6 families, ministries, etc. My needs are simple, and SS is like a smorgasbord to me, an oasis in a dry land.

Reality is, I can only carry about 10 subscriptions in a year, and I live a very simple life. I overspent on election audits,, candidates, J6 support, etc. these last 3 years. So this year, I had to choose which ones to support, which saddened me, for SS is chockablock full of great writers, patriots, academics, scientists, the best of the lot!

So, just my 2 cents..

Wonderful food for thought, but I was struck by your opening "born in 2017 in the amidst of the pandemic." The pandemic did not occur until early 2020.

A not-so-new observation: Freedom of speech is critical to freedom, period. But freedom of speech is not absolute. If some sicko wishes to describe a pedophile act, or terrorists plan an attack on America on your pages, this speech should be banned.
