I enjoy your writing very much. Thank you. There was an article about "sensitive" people vs. another type - and comparing the both. I think in the article was a comparison about a leader who loved babies, but killed many people. Forgive me for not remembering, but there are so many articles that I forget where I saw this info. Can you direct me to this conversation, please?
> Unorthodoxy encourages a focus on what we can control: our thoughts, feelings, actions, and ideas.
REPLY: What remains missing is food. That is food grown from the Earth each of us cares for. The reason the Earth is so polluted and so toxic is we have allowed ourselves to be seduced by big ag and Corporate food. Our connection to the Earth has slowly been taken from us. And now we are considered useless eaters.
The Amish are a good role model. They grow there own food on land they have farmed for 300 years +. Here in Calif the central valley ground water is polluted with agricultural toxins (herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, not to mention poisons from industries, gas stations and much more) in a little more than 100 years. In Lancaster Pennsylvania where the Amish are, the land is free from all toxins except the poisons the are brought in via the atmosphere and storms.
Food is so much more than McDonald's. One cares for the Earth if one lives from it. Corporate farmers by enlarge at best sit in an air conditioned tractor and rarely work the soil with their hands. Reflecting on this is a deep spiritual and biological practice. Those two spiritual and biological cannot be separated. One's reflection will guide one's path forward.
Together with Gaia*/Earth we will walk the path to health and happiness.
* Please read the work of James Lovelock and his awesome collaborator Dr. Lynn Margulis (both deceased) to begin to understand Gaia/Earth. The first peoples knew this in their hearts.
