I will not be voting. For a couple of reasons, the first being that I do not consent to the whole psychopathic legal/governmental system - it thwarts Ethics FAR more than serves them - and the second is that One has to REGISTER.

Any time You register anything, You are giving it to the state – to do with and to it as the state sees fit – in exchange for a privilege. In the case of registering to vote, You are giving Your sovereignty, Your Self, to the state – to do with and to You as it sees fit – in exchange for the privilege of wasting time in a booth.

The for-profit corporation, USA Inc., appoints its officers, holds "elections" to maintain the illusion We have a say, "counts" the "votes," and tells Us who "won" (who They appointed). I do not want to give My sovereignty to a corporation that sees Me merely as a dollar sign.

And thus My work to bring Ethics back as the highest Law.

For some real honest history of our current government, I suggest the work of Michael Gaddy…here’s a link to one article: https://open.substack.com/pub/michaelgaddy/p/doomed-from-the-beginning-a-constitution?r=1b28cx&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

The Rs and the Ds play for the same team!

Interesting take. I don't claim to be very knowledgeable in these things, but several points ring true.

* Local, local, local! These things affect us much more directly, yet most people only pay attention to nationwide elections, which, as you said, have the least effect.

* R's and D's both love to spend our money; R's like to spend it on the "defense" budget, (who is really attacking us, anyway??), D's like to spend it on social engineering and welfare programs, and both line their pockets with kickbacks and dividends with our money!

* I do wonder what percentage of jobs that the D's "create" are ultimately funded with our taxpayer money though. In that case they're not creating wealth, they're just redistributing our money against our will.

* Ideally, R's should be cutting all the pork out to create a healthier environment for free enterprise to thrive and create actual wealth, but sadly they talk a lot but don't usually do anything.

* I will say that I gladly welcome all the current D's who have broke from the new, "Progressive" D's and are working towards real solutions. 🙂
