The article presents several values and perspectives:
Political Skepticism: The author expresses skepticism towards the current political system, suggesting that neither party seems willing to prioritize the needs of the people over political gain.
Individual Empowerment: The author emphasizes the power of individuals to effect change, suggesting that the solution to societal problems lies within each of us, not in a single person or political figure.
Critical Thinking: The author encourages readers to critically examine the political landscape, including the motivations and actions of political figures like RFK, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden.
Community Focus: The author values focusing on personal relationships and community-building over participating in broader political processes.
In an expected turn of events, RFK has announced Nicole Shanahan as his running mate for the Vice Presidency in the 2024 presidential election. This announcement has sent ripples through the political landscape, particularly why RFK would align himself with the ex-wife of the biggest tech corporation out there, Google, is a head scratcher for even the most staunch RFK supporters.
As a commentator who has extensively discussed the reasons against participating in presidential elections, I find this development intriguing. It presents an opportunity to examine the current state of our society, particularly within the context of the Substack Truth Movement and the broader United States.
The pandemic has been a catalyst for change, opening many people’s eyes to the realities of our world. It has led to a growing realization that the government may not always act in the best interest of its citizens. Conspiracies of collusion and corruption within the government have further fueled this sentiment, with one example being how COVID policies have resulted in the millions of deaths of Americans.
The Democratic Party, once a beacon for liberal ideals, has veered sharply to the left, alienating some of its base. The rise of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives has been perceived by some as an overemphasis on ‘wokeness’ and downright Marxist, leading to a shift away from the party.
On the other side of the aisle, the Republican Party continues to be dominated by the figure of Donald Trump. However, there is a growing sense among some Republicans that Trump may not have the best interests of the American population at heart, leading to questions about his continued influence within the party, fueled by the propaganda group QAnon.
Amidst this shifting political landscape, RFK emerged as a centrist alternative, appealing to those disillusioned with both parties. His candidacy has sparked a rise in independent voters, those who refuse to align strictly with either party.
As someone who doesn’t advocate for presidential voting, I find it fascinating to take a step back, sit back, grab my popcorn, and observe these dynamics. With Biden and Trump as the unlikely choices, voters are turning to RFK only to be led down the same path if they would have voted with Trump or Biden. The uncertainty is palpable, with many unsure who to vote for yet determined to exercise their democratic right.
This situation underscores the need for a different approach to our society. Voting for a candidate who may not have your best interests at heart is a flawed system. Neither party seems willing to prioritize the needs of the people over political gain.
We must recognize that this is a larger game with numerous underlying factors at play. It’s crucial not to fall for distractions and to understand that no single person can be the solution to our problems. The power to effect change lies within each of us.
This election season promises to be interesting, with individuals torn between three candidates. However, not all of us are conflicted. Some of us see the bigger picture and choose to abstain, focusing instead on our families, neighborhoods, relationships, and friends. We are committed to building our society rather than being swayed by external influences.

As of last week, RFK jr was on only 5 state November ballots. He has an enormous uphill battle. Also, what would he do with a deeply captured House and Senate? . Nobody talks about that. A president IMHO is only as good as his or her control of congress and vice versa . Especially in these days of corruption. He’s an outsider both sides will hate. I suppose he could clean out the deep state in some ways, but that might be a very, very dangerous process for him personally . I doubt I will vote for any of the candidates. Just my 2 cents as being in my middle 70’s and awake. I’m aghast at what is happening.
When will Cheryl Hines offer a public apology?
