Why Esoteric Philosophy is Vital To Our Society, Part Three
Where Do We Go From Here?
Welcome to the three-part analysis of Why Esoteric Philosophy is Vital To Our Society. This is Part III of III. You can find Part I here and Part II here.
Esoteric Philosophers Needed
As I’ve mentioned throughout this article, we’ve all been drawn to esotericism in one way or another.
Whether we’ve questioned the religion taught to us and have wondered about spirituality,
or if we’ve reviewed the philosophy of ancient individuals such as stoicism.
Even if we’ve looked into conspiracies, that indeed, in fact have turned out to be true, or unexplained.
For the most part, everyone has stumbled upon esotericism. However, we rarely go into the “why;” we don’t dive deep enough.
One example I will use to prove my point is that of Nikola Tesla. In the modern worldview, the name Tesla is associated with Elon Musk, but very few know where the word “Tesla” comes from; that’s just Elon’s car.
Some may have done some research and realize that Musk named the company after the famous inventor Nikola Tesla,
but again, very few have looked into the work, life, and philosophy of the man named Nikola Tesla.
I strongly recommend Alex’s work on Tesla, and I touch on Tesla and the topic of electricity in my book and course; ironically in the beginning and towards the end of both.
But the takeaway here is that the majority of humanity are familiar with the word “Tesla” but have very few idea, the who, what, where, of the individual Nikola Tesla.
This article will not dive into the works of him, as I just mentioned previous works that touch on him, but I want to paint a picture inspired from Alex’s work. When we realize that the oligarch Banker J.P. Morgan funded the work of Tesla, and as soon as Tesla passed, all of that was sized away by government officials, we start to see the concept of “the two sciences.”
With the two sciences, we have the public science and we have the classified science; the known and the hidden.
We all know the works of Edison, Einstein, and more, but we’ve never been introduced to the works of Tesla.
Tesla, who spoke of wireless technologies decades before their time, has had his works hidden, but potentially further studied under the guise of “classified science.”
We can only speculate what has come from that work, and I would support the notion that the idea of “UFOs” may have come from this hidden science, but that is a message for another day.
The ultimate takeaway from this passage about Nikola Tesla is that Tesla was a deep mystic. His work, where he intertwined spirituality with reality is the definition of what an esoteric is.
Mysticism and spirituality never went away; they simply became hidden.
Carl Jung, who many would consider one of the greatest psychologist of all time stated that humanity needed a spirituality for optimal human potential. Unfortunately, in our current day and age, we are lacking in spirituality.
I would position that the lack of spirituality is a direct result of this scientistic perspective, which focuses on the material.
I make the position that this world view, nihilism, starts with our view of reality, in which we ignore the number one revelation that this is a spiritual existence, a level earth plane surrounded in the firmament.
I would argue confidentially that Jung would be supportive of my article on Scientism and Why We Need to Bring Back the Myths.
Nevertheless, the takeaway here is that spirituality is must for the optimal human potential to be realized, and to do so, we cannot stay surface level. We must dive deep.
This is the reason, the core, the ethos of my section on Alchemy. Researching the wisdom of old, wisdom enriched with mysticism and spirituality, and overlaying it on top of our current reality. Mysticism and spirituality never went away; they simply became hidden. However, due to our current society, and the barriers that have been put up against them, for hundreds of years, we have forgetting, or do not care to look into these matters. To add fuel to the fire, we’re drowning in a sea of irrelevance – to where “the institutions” carry the loudest voice.
According to the esotericist Manly P. Hall, there are three great energies that humanity must overcome in the Kali Yuga. They are ignorance, superstition, and fear.
Ignorance, simply being ignorant of information is prominent in our day and age.
Our current flow of information is primarily centralized as we’re only given “X” amount of information that applies to our daily lives.
There’s the politics, the sports, celebrities, finances, sciences and war – and here’s some good ole feel good story.
A deep exploration of the soul, and the human’s role in the grand divine plan, will not be covered, especially if it could potentially upend the current status quo.
To be fair, there is some ownership as well as if we chose not to ask question, or research further, in a sense, we’re choosing, consciously, to stay ignorant. This is how we feed into the energy of ignorance.
Superstition, the act of believing in fantasy, will be spread throughout the Kali Yuga as well.
The early Alchemists stated that we “waste our imaginary powers dealing with fantasy, rather than directing those imaginary powers towards reality.”
This is due to superstition. We’ve built, and continue to power, our reality upon fantasmic ideals, such as, on one end, our current monetary system to another, space travel.
Our “belief” in these two systems continues to keep and support them, when in actuality, these two systems produce nothing tangible.
Unfortunately, due to the force of ignorance, we continue to fuel the spirit of superstition, and it continues to grow and grow.
Lastly, there’s the spirit of fear. Ironically, this energy is the easiest to overcome as we simply need to muster up the spirit of courage.
Fear is the breeding ground for courage and once courage has been transmuted from fear, courage can help one combat the energy of ignorance, which eventually leads to overcoming the spirit of superstition.
So one could say that fear is the staring point to overcoming these three energies, but if we are ignorant of the power that we have over fear, it can overwhelm and control us.
The greatest potential for change ends up being our greatest captor as we don’t chose to overcome it.
Fortunately, there is hope. As I’ve stated in this article before, this is the Kali Yuga. And as I stated in my analysis of Brave New World and 1984, we should consider ourselves privileged to be here. For in this time, all we need to do is call upon salvation and it will come. All that’s needed is for us to be simply aware and to muster up the courage to move forward, and once we do that, humanity will begin it’s process out of the Dark Ages as it has in the past. However, it will not be easy as we have three great energies before us. And this is why esoteric philosophers are needed.
As the Bible states, we fight, “not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities… against the rulers of the darkness… against spiritual wickedness.” Humanity is in a spiritual war.
We’ve become content with simply surviving, that we fail to realize that we were meant to thrive as a civilization.
We’ve become comfortable with the conveniences provided to us that we no longer care of reaching our full human potential.
This is the side effect of a lack of, or a faulty, spirituality, which manifests itself in our principalities, our thoughts, and ideals.
Thought precedes actions and philosophy helps to refine our thoughts. By choosing to transmute the energy of fear into courage and diving deeper into the concepts of the esoteric, or the hidden, you begin to swim pass the waves from the sea of irrelevance and dive deeper into the concepts of the beyond. You begin to experience reality on much deeper sense, and as the alchemists said, you begin to “experience God.” This was the core to those early Christians, known as the Gnostics, this was the ethos to the medieval alchemists, and this is what we see evident in the world of Nikola Tesla – a peace in embracing the spirituality of reality, and truly experiencing the beauty of the Divine.
As more begin to explore the topics of the esoteric, as the old adage states, “the revolution will not be televised.” But a revolution it will be.
As more begin to study the ancient wisdom of old in new times, we will begin to revisit the ideas and the concepts of freedom, and sovereignty.
We’ll begin to dive into spiritually on a deeper, intimate level, which would manifest itself in how we treated ourselves, and each other.
We’ll begin to see the spirituality to things and begin to work on systems that provide and nurture more spiritual growth.
We’ll begin to see reality in a mystical light, one that removes the shred of darkness spread by ignorance, superstition, and fear.
Once this veil has been pierced, all will be revealed, and humanity proceeds into the next Golden Age. This is what the Book of Revelations and the Kali Yuga foretold.
And so, to close, I implore you to investigate the things that may be hidden. I ask of you to muster up the courage to face ignorance in topics that may not at first appeal to you, but you get intuitively drawn too. It’s time that we no longer stayed surface level, but it’s time that we began to dive deep as a species. As we’re are entering an even more incredibly materialistic time, highlighted with the merging of man and machine, advance computing - or what others may call AI, remember that simply awareness is key to salvation.
If we are no longer ignorant to what reality could be, as individuals as Tesla foretold, we could begin to use our imaginative powers to imagine a work where all things work synchronistically and synergistically for the greater good.
I write about this in my book where I imagine my view from the year 2030.
I have an upcoming article where I imagine what a world can look like and what steps we can take to get there as well.
However, it does involve humanity overcoming ignorance and superstition in fantasy, and focusing that creative energy, courageously on a new future.
And I hope you’re able to imagine, with me, what this new Golden Age looks like.
If interested in getting started on esoteric philosophy, my work and Alex’s would be amazing places to start. As mentioned before, there’s a Udemy course, which contains the raw manuscript of my book, there’s my substack and my member’s-only section, and in the future, my upcoming book on our reality. I’d also recommend exploring Alex’s Substack (The Wisdom Tradition) as well for more information.
To prevent writing any further, I would like to say thank you for the time and attention, especially if you made it through this work. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments, and I wish you nothing but success in this journey of life.
This concludes Part III of Why Esoteric Philosophy is Vital To Our Society. You can find Part I here and Part II here.
Franklin, in your pursuit for truth, you are overlooking the source of truth which is the God of bible. I would challenge you to pray to God asking him to reveal himself to you. Jesus said of himself that "I am the way, the truth, and the life. Him who comes to the Father, comes through me." Gospel of John. I would challenge you to pray this prayer with all sincerity if you want to find the truth and then the Truth will find you. God bless you.
